Day 1 9:00 Depart from your hotel Āę 11:00 Arrive at the 5th station of Mt. Fuji Āę *Prepare yourself for the ascent/descent (Including changing your clothes, packing Āę your gear into your backpack, etc.) Āę *Briefing of about 20min. will be provided Āę *All the guests are encouraged to spend at least 1 hour at the 5th station before Āę climbing to adjust your body to high altitude to avoid the altitude sickness Āę (5th station of Mt. Fuji is already over 2,300m (7,667ft.) above the sea level) 12:00 Depart from the 5th station at the time of your choice Āę *Average ascent time to the mountain lodge at the 8th station is around 4 to 5 hours Āę *Your guide leads you and walk at the most comfortable pace for you 17:00 Arrive at the mountain lodge at the 8th station *Dinner is provided upon arrival *Spend your time at leisure *Sleep early and prepare for an early morning departure! Day 2 1:30 Wake up! Āę *Wake up by 1:30 Āę *Prepare yourself in order to leave at 2:00 2:00 Depart from the mountain lodge at the 8th station Āę *Remaining distance to the summit is approximately 1.5km (0.9miles) Āę *Depending on the congestion on the trail, it usually takes about 1 to 2 hours to Āę reach the summit. Āę *Sky grows red and getting brighter about half an hour before the sunrise Āę *Once you reach the summit, find the best spot to take photos of the beautiful Āę sunrise from the summit to Mt. Fuji 4:30 Sunrise! Āę *Time of sunrise varies depending on the time of the year you climb. Āę (e.g. July : 4:30 Ā` 4:40, August : 4:40 Ā` 5:00, September : 5:00 Ā` 5:10) 6:30 Start heading back to the 5th station Āę *Average descent time from the summit to the 5th station is around 3.5hours for Āę those in an average fitness level Āę *Please be sure to allow yourself enough time to complete the descent by 10:00 Āę (Since this is NOT a private tour but a join-in tour, the van will take off no later Āę than 10:00) 10:00 Depart from the 5th station Āę *Drive straight back to your hotel in Tokyo 12:00 Arrive at your hotel *End of the tour

Warm clothes, rain gear, trekking shoes, back pack, head lamp, water, trail snacks, extra layers, 100yen coins (for toilet) and trash bags

Gloves, trekking poles, breakfast, sunglasses, gators/spats, hat, sunscreen, camera, towels (to remove sweat and for hot spring)
*Free rental of head light, gators/spats and back pack (25L) are available
*Trekking poles(1 pair) to support your ascent/descent are also available for JPY1,000
*You can leave your unnecessary belongings in the van while you're on the trail
*Please pay additional JPY1,000 for the entrance fee at the trail head upon climbing
•It is highly recommended that you train yourself hard to prepare for the hike well in advance •Temperature at the summit gets as low as 0 degree Celsius (32 degree Fahrenheit) in the morning, so please bring appropriate gear (Warm clothes and nice trekking boots) with you.
•Sunrise is not guaranteed to be watched depending on the weather condition •Mountaineering is a self-responsibility activity, so climb at your own risk all the time •Getting yourself insured is highly recommended •All tours use 'Yoshida Trail', the most major one of all four trails
